The Stampede Motel

Dean's room in the magical A-Frame is heavily based on the Stampede Motel from Season 13.   The "Wild Bill Suite" with cowboy memorabilia delighted Dean.

Over the years, there were many Western-themed motel rooms on Supernatural.  I combined elements from several of them to create a room that suited Dean's love of all things Wild West.

The headboards are based on a motel cabin from Season 8, Episode 16, "Remember The Titans" (below.)

The plaid bedding is similar to the Stampede Motel, where Dean, awakened unexpectedly, proved he was an "angry sleeper."

Dean's room includes a spacious sitting area with a fieldstone fireplace.  The mantel displays a souvenir postcard from the Winchester brothers' annual vacation in Las Vegas, and a photo of the boys with Bobby Singer.

The fireplace and knotty pine paneling are modeled after Bob's Bighorn Lodge from Season 8.

I made a replica of the taxidermized armadillo and rustic wooden table from Wyeth's Western Inn from Season 1.  I also did my best to copy the chair with cowboy-themed upholstery.

The little table (above) sits to the left of the beds when Dean's entire room is set up.  The red loveseat (below) is featured in both the Stampede Motel and in Uncle Erv's Green Valley Motel from Season 5.

Of note:  Castiel is drunk in the scene above.

"I found a liquor store."

"And?"

"And I drank it."

Above, in the Stampede Motel, Dean excitedly points out portraits of Wyatt Earp, Curly Bill Brocius, Johnny Ringo, and other Wild West notables.  Below, I recreated the taxidermized bison head and portraits.

Over time, I've changed the configuration of Dean's room.  He also has his own weathered-looking door (below.)

"Boop...That's--that's real."
